Stories are told and narratives are woven, a complex web of many voices and perspectives. The process of mythologizing takes a web of experience woven with many strands, and drops threads until a single one remains. It is a process that simplifies and seduces. spin is a three-part video inspired by the myth of the Three Fates, the Moirai: the personification of destiny in the greek mythology. Clotho is the spinner, Lachesis the allotter and Atropos the inexorable. Instead of 3 fates, this installation has 3 acts: time, fate and self-determination.

A performative work, it describes the creation of mythology, the elision and creation of ones own narrative.
